For Black Squirrel Radio News, I'm Lauren Miller and this is E-news In 60 Seconds.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland inducted new bands on Monday.  ABBA, Iggy Pop's Stooges, Genesis, The Hollies and Jimmy Cliff are now in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Akronnewsnow.com reported that ABBA sold about 100 million records before breaking up in 1982.  You may have heard their hit singles, "Dancing Queen" and "Waterloo" on the radio or perhaps you have watched or seen the musical "Mamma Mia!," which is made up of ABBA songs. Genesis had multiple hits like "Land of Confusion" and featured the talented Phil Collins. Collins later broke up with the band and went solo, generating more hits.

Album Review: Jessie Murphy in the Woods "Eight Belles"
Album Reviews

Lauren Cupkovic | BSR Music

Eight Belles is a beautiful album that reminds me of the best part of the indie music experience; which is finding a song or artist you love, and then claiming it as your own personal treasure. New York based, Jessie Murphy In The Woods, is a band that deserves to be discovered in the vast genre of indie/folk. The trio consists of Marcia Webb (flute, pan pipes, clarinet, Wurlitzer electric piano, and vocals), Amy Stratton (horn, flute, vocals, and percussion), and Jessie Murphy (lead vocals, and acoustic guitar).
